According to the YouTube Help Center...
"When you claim a custom URL on YouTube, you no longer also get a Google+ URL. Learn how to claim a custom URL for your Google+ profile. If you have questions about a custom YouTube URL, contact our Creator Support team."
So, which do you consider the most advantageous?
1). A Custom Profile URL
2). A Custom YouTube URL

For me I would think the G+ custom URL would be more advantageous (#1). But a popular YouTuber would think differently.

I expect that a custom URL for G+ would suit my needs better than for my YouTube channel. Although, it isn't an area I have put much thought toward before!
