I must say it is a difficult thing to get one's head around. This article does help - but I guess it is changing everyday as it were! Need to save this for later reading!
Tim Longwell I agree. But be aware of the fact that the more control you have, greater responsibility you have to take. In other words, if you expected a file to be synced but it is not, from now on it may be because you forgot to make it happen so! Earlier we could just put a file there and it would automatically sync. Not anymore. So every silver lining has a dark cloud behind it!☺
Good point Vivekananda Baindoor Rao. I have not had any issues so far. As I have always made a habit of verifying due to old habits, I can see where it might pose an issue for some. As far as I can tell it has not affected using the Google Drive folder. Possibly when I point Backup to an alternate source folder on my PC it could become an issue

I like the change Vivekananda Baindoor Rao lets me choose what to sync and when instead of upon opening drive each time.
