I want to store my lower-third details "in the cloud".

I want to store my lower-third details "in the cloud". They appear to be held somewhere on the local machine, and that means I have to recreate them when I switch (which is often), and the saved sets occasionally disappear without warning.

  1. Tony Proctor I just started one computer, started a HOA and did a new lower third , turned it on and then saved it. It was added to the presave list in the Hangout ToolBox.

I then shut down that computer, started another one up, started a HOA, opened the Hangout Toolbox and the new lower thirs was also on that presaved list. I always have done this and thought all lower thrids were saved in the cloud.

  2. I'm confused then. I must be losing them more often than I thought

  3. Tony Proctor,

If you save the Preset, it will stay with your Google+ Login.

Also check the Settings at the Right end of the Hangout Tool Box menu

  4. That's not working for me Russ Worthington . It randomly disappears on a given machine, causing me to have to create and save it again. I've also never seen it transferred to another machine. This is why I thought it was stored locally, but it may be that I'm simply losing it there too.

  5. Just got off a Hangout with Andrew Hatchett . My logo may have been a bit large so I've trimmed it down, and I'll see if that works when I switch machines next.

  6. I've shrunk my logo to less than 200x200 pixels to see if that helps. It was about 650x650 before. I'll try it out later today (GMT)

Watching one of the Pixler Tutorials by Terry Leigh Britton - He pointed out that IF you use Pixler, you can Save your image with your Google+ account. That would put your lower 3rd "in the cloud".

    Just a thought

  8. Anyone want to try a one-on-one hangout to check whether this change is also a fix?

  9. Tony Proctor - per our test HOA, I suggested that you contact the folks on the about page for the Hangout Toolbox. Will be interested to hear what they way.

    Thank you,

  11. Andrew Hatchett - Tony and I did a test, thus my earlier comment. Something's not right. We removed and reinstalled the Hangout Tool Box. Tony would go out and come back in and none of the Saved items appeared.

  13. I posted a question in the 'Hangout Toolbox'  group last night but no responses yet. Reading back through the list, I don't think I'm alone on seeing this problem. No one seems to have addressed it though.
