Best practice for installing new external webcam?

Best practice for installing new external webcam?

I presently have a Logitech c525 on a PC running Vista. Today I acquired a Logitech c920 to replace the c525. Before trying to install the c920 should I delete the software associated with the c525 or will it simply be overwritten when I install the c920?

    Andrew Hatchett I'd probably start clean and delete old then install sftwr for the c920. Given it only takes a couple of minutes it should be a slam dunk.

    Hi Rayne Dowell and welcome to the community. Yes, I'm looking for better video quality - especially for my lower thirds and custom overlays I got the c920 installed on my smaller computer and the quality really improved. Now to get on onto my big main computer.  ;)
