Thanks for sharing Andrew Hatchett!
ReplyDeleteWhat would be the advantage of using Blogger over your WP website and posting a link in Community or collection?
ReplyDeleteLowellAnn Fuglsang One advantage is that it is free so there are no hosting costs.
ReplyDelete:)
Andrew Hatchett Do you think this a harbinger for the disappearance of G+ Collections & Communities?

ReplyDeleteNot at all!
There are over 7,000 new communities started each day (2.5 million a year!) and they have updated the moderating options recently so I don't see either of them going away.
LowellAnn Fuglsang I think Blogger complements both Collections and Communities. For example, I find a blog post is better for longer content, especially if I want to insert multiple images or videos, or format the text. I use my blog for longer, more "permanent", content.
ReplyDeleteWhether you use WP or Blogger as your platform is partially a matter of choice. But Blogger is free and easy to use, lets you monetize your content, and has pretty good integration with the rest of the Googleverse.
Peggy K The integration would be the biggest advantage I guess. Thank you. BTW - I cannot find it in any of my Google tools. Strange
