I host a weekly hang out and a weekly podcast. Am wanting to create recurring events for each here at Google +. The hang out is NOT hang out on air. I have an event related question: How do I create a recurring weekly event ( set it and forget it)?
Terrific Tonya Heathco I would suggest a business hangout to do that. If you just must have the Google Event I have not found a great way to do that, ESPECIALLY the set it and forget it. Maybe some of our members that have weekly shows like Heather Kraafter . Maybe they have a secret recipe for setting up Events that repeat.
Terrific Tonya Heathco If teh events are basically all the same except for date and time then you can use the "Duplicate Event" option in the drop down menu in the Details section on the event page and just edite the duplicate event- saves a lot of typing!
As Michael Daniels says- there is no set it and forget it option. Each event must be set up separately (either from scratch or duplicated).
no fix it and forget formula that I am aware of. I am using recurring events with BHO stating next week. Kinda fix it and forget it to me - and I can not wait to experience the new set up!
