Mixed Media Canvas
Kraaft-A-Long!

My family is visiting so we are doing the Kraaft It LIVE! show a little different this week. My mom and my sister join me in the studio to create a Mixed Media canvas together for them to take home as a souvenir of their trip to Butte, America.

We are going to need a few supplies:
~A canvas, we will use 8” x 10”
~A cut out - A line image is best. Try using your electronic cutting machine to cut out something like a butterfly that is NOT a solid image. My mom and my sister will be doing a local iconic image, a headframe, for theirs. If you do not own a machine to cut it out, you can cut one using exacto blade or craft knife. I will be using a butterfly I cut with my Cricut.
~Text pages, tissue paper, napkins
~Gel medium, matte is best for this project
~Gesso
~Paint
~Stamps
~Archival Ink
~Stencils
~Tools like - brayer, sponges, heat tool etc.
