This video actually backs up EXACTLY what I was saying this morning. Post often (more than once a week) Post consistently day & time Be relevant in title, tags and descriptions so your content matches. Produce videos people want to watch. Utilize playlists!
Do all that then... When people who like to watch stuff similar to what you offer, you will be suggested to them because the AI is getting smarter. It knows us well enough to say, here is an active channel that produces stuff you like.
Thanks for finding the post Andrew Hatchett it was a good discussion today for sure!!!!
Although I keep missing the discussions here I do manage to see most of what +Darrel Lleves videos, Why? because it is just like he says. It seems that I am getting more of this content sugested to me because of what I have been researching and to be honest I love it. I have learned so much from it that I am seeing it in my suggested watch videos. Not is it only him but a lot of other video gurus. As far as my own art videos I have seen an increase in views also. Some are good others are bad for obvious reasons as some are only "test" videos I should make those private until I get time to cut the pieces I want from them and delete whats not needed.
One of my videos has taken off because of this suggested videos thing. It's over 7,000 views now, about a thousand per month. So I did the right thing somehow. Unfortunately all my other videos have not made it to suggested videos.
Craig Long Craig Long no I dont. Those were "retired" and it is now best to use cards. Annotations only ever worked on desktop. Cards work on everything but TV.
Heather Kraafter I cant seem to wrap my brain around them and how to create them. I need them for all my videos apparently I also have a hard time on editting short videos as I am more use to longer versions Kind of weird to hear myself say that lol
Arthur Morehead end cards are super easy to use and create. Not the difficulty they once were. Michael Daniels and I will be doing a new show in May where we will be discussing technical stuff like this. You may want to tune in and learn. Subscribe to his YouTube channel and turn on notifications so you will know when we are live!
Heather Kraafter Craig Long Daryll Eves is a top dog on YouTube and Follow this guy a lot, I have more than enough views it's my subscribers I need help with You need to have at least 1000 subscribers to get the Super Chat thing going which is a very cool way to make a few bucks. I use to have well over that but then You Tube thought I didn't need them and deleted all but 300 Now it's like starting all over although I tried to fight it because my views on my videos don't make sense by comparison. A couple of my vids I have 75,000 views! Yet my views have increased to 7:00 but yet its not good enough to get SuperChat , I also like Michael Daniels I think everyone here is top notch
Arthur Morehead the loss of subscribers is a bummer, but I can say that YouTube got rid of dummy accounts and spammers. I am personally grateful for that. Views matter way more than subscribers do so sounds like you on the right track.
"End Screens" and "Cards" are different. Arthur Morehead When you edit the video (at the pencil icon or at Edit in your Video Manager) both those are available to you.
