Community Member Activity View

We're rolling out a new Communities feature that allows owners, moderators, and members to view the posts from any community member.

You can access the Member Activity View via a post's three-dot menu (by selecting, for example, "View Carole McKay's activity") or via a member's hovercard (by selecting "View community activity").

  1. er.... wasn't that already available by looking at the members own profile page (at least that's how I used to do it) - anyways - one click less :-)

It was only available if the member allowed their community posts to be seen on their profile page - otherwise it didn't show there.

It depends on a lot of things...

. are you regularly signing in and out of Google on different accounts and/or computers?

. are you switching between accounts AND browsers?

I usually fire up my windows computer - open my chrome browser (which is set to continue where I left of) and I'm set for the day.

  5. You always have to sign in to make a comment because you can't be anonymous. Don't delete your cookies otherwise you will always have to sign in.

  6. Andrew Hatchett It use to be I could just set up the account and tell it to "remember me" and click the box and would not have to sign in ever time I came to the site.

  7. Craig Long I don't delete the cookies, I mean it's with all my social media accounts, that's a lot of signing in lol

  8. Arthur Morehead Yeah, some do require more signing in than others. If you use Google Chrome you can set it to remember your sign in details like passwords so that you don't have to type anything in when you sign in.

  9. Andrew Hatchett sounds as if your setting up a "BuddyPress" Forum with these features as you can do the same thing with the "activities" Add On etc.

I have no idea what a "BuddyPress" Forum is. I do 90-95% of what I do within the Googlesphere.
