  1. Unbeknownst to me, I violated YouTubes community guidelines by posting external links during my weekly video. As a punishment, I am not allowed to live stream for 3 months. That's why the video isnt availible. I've ben banned

    Peggy K can external links cause that to happen?
    I haven't live streamed in a long time. I don't want to take any more chances.

  3. Craig Long​ John Jurkiewicz​ if the links in the description violate the Community Guidelines, that could result in a strike.

    So that could be links to hacking or cracking, illegal downloads of copyrighted content, porn, etc.

    Affiliate links are a grey area. Lots of Creators use Amazon affiliate links. It might depend on what is being promoted exactly.

    And the system may get it wrong sometimes, so I think CG strikes can usually be appealed.
