FYI: Huge windows 10 update going on now so if things are running slow that might be the reason for it.
It's the new Creator windows 10 version 1709. takes several hours to download, install, and wait for windows to set up and it restarts your computer several times. You just have to let it run it's course. When it finally booted up it said it was going to show me what all the new things were but it never did for some reason.
Thanks Richard Clarkson
ReplyDeleteIm not even using my computer or laptop right now. All my windows are closed and this thing is just going slower than snails
ReplyDeleteThanks Richard Clarkson!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Sheila Hensley
ReplyDeleteNothing much new. Except you can sync your Desktop, Documents, and Pictures in OneDrive using AutoSave. I sync my 2 PCs Desktops which I like a lot.
ReplyDeleteThere is Files On-Demand which I don't use because I have a lot of local storage.
There's something called 3D Objects which I haven't tried out yet.
Thanks for the update Richard Clarkson. Is your internet hardwired or a wifi when you did the update?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the summary Craig Long
ReplyDeleteUh oh the last Windows updates screwed me when Windows had the "anniversary updates" (3 of them) It destroyed my Logitech drivers and kept failing showing the BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) I literally had to manually uninstall those updates and all my Logitech equipment. Plus I had to add some code into the root to stop the BSOD It was a fricken nightmare.....
ReplyDeleteRichard Clarkson You probably need to defrag your system and clean out some old files and cache (system maintenance) I clean mine everytime I use an editor (audio/video) It's really brutal on your system. You may want to look at your processors and go to the larger i7 as i5 just cant handle what is put thru them Especially uploading video files and Live streaming/broadcasting
