I'm starting a new music performance series, but am on the fence whether to use this new music performance YouTube channel I've erected, and start from scratch building the audience and subscribers, or keep the music stuff on my main channel.

The issue I'm troubled by is that my current subscribers mostly are looking for tutorial videos, and this series is intended to be a daily music program, so they'll be getting notifications for a type of programming they may not want to know about (and possibly will unsubscribe).

Which way should I go with this? Any opinions?

Here is the announcement post about the new series:

I'd think a separate channel would better serve you in the long run. You wouldn't upset you present subscribers and they could always subscribe to your new channel if interested and those interested in the new subject matter wouldn't be getting notified of tutorials they weren't interested in. It seems a win-win to me.
