I just thought I would keep you informed that Microsoft doesn't like the link to the Windows Movie Maker that I suggested. A community moderator removed the link. The link they suggested on the thread below doesn't work for me. You might want to try it out also.

  1. Did you read the reply about they stopped making "Movie Maker" in 2012? Pretty much explains why they did

  2. Arthur Morehead Yeah but they claim you can still get it using their link. And I have success using my link. I gave my link to Andrew Hatchett

  3. Richard Clarkson That's great that it still works fine.

  4. Not to go offtopic here but did the Don Varnau person tweak your words even? Because I noticed he quoted you (the part in blue) then came back with a response then I saw the part it blue does not fully match what you even said earlier. It's the Nov 3 comment last comment by him.

  5. Charlotte Imbeau No he didn't tweak my words. I had edited my earlier post and changed the wording to make it more clear.

I believe Don misunderstood. I wasn't saying that the links weren't opening. I was trying to convey that I just couldn't install the software.

  6. Hey guys Andrew HatchettRichard ClarksonArthur Morehead See the last few replies on that forum thread. The software wants payment. I never got anything like that.

  7. Craig Long It never said anything about payment when i installed it.
I tried to include a picture of it but google won't let me put it in here. I tried to send it to you private but it doesn't show the right icon for you. There are several Craig Long's.

It never mentioned money when I download/installed it. I just used it to do a short video I'll be putting on YouTube later tonight.

  9. Interesting - I was just this week looking for a source for Windows Movie Maker. Glad I didn't have time to get embroiled in any scam!

  10. Terry Leigh Britton But I like it and it doesn't ask me for money. Google hasn't blocked the site either. Andrew has it and so does Richard.
