Google Drive/Photos update coming next month!
Per Google:
In early January 2018, we will simplify Drive navigation by removing the Google Photos tab. You can continue to access your photos and videos in Drive by creating a Google Photos folder in My Drive.
Note that this update will roll out to your Chromebooks as well as your Android and iOS devices.

ReplyDeleteI'm not really sure as I don't have a G Suite account. My personal feeling is that anything that affects G suites will, sooner or later, affect the regular consumer stuff as well - be it 6 weeks later or 2years later.
