can you video call with someone who has gmail but not the hangout app.

can you video call with someone who has gmail but not the hangout app. will they be able to see me? we both have gmail and android phones.

    I'm pretty sure you need the Hangout App. It's free, and came preinstalled on my HTC.

    You must use the "hangout app" in order to make a video call on a HVC on an android.
    You can have them look for the round green button with white double quotes.
