hiya, is there anyone around ho can help with a comment tracker issues now? Heather Kraafter Phil Aston Krishna De had some probs getting online but we are here :)
HI Heather Kraafter and John Jurkiewicz (Krishna knows this already). We were using IE on their laptop and I didn't know that hangouts basically don't work on IE. 90 minutes later we were still trying to get the thing working. I should have called out to you guys earlier but I thought it was the upload speed that was the problem - it was 0.5! I'm not sure its going to work for them :(
OH Kath Dawson I have struggled all day with notifications today. So sorry to have not replied to this until now.
I want to say, IE has not ever really played nice with hangouts. Almost like we all seem to just "know" that and it should have never been overlooked. I am sorry to not have made that clear before.
Chrome is easy to download, but I suppose that depends on them and how they run their networks. So you may not have the option to just add Chrome.
Thanks Heather Kraafter I shouldn't have spent 90 minutes trying to get IE to play right and then only after that try the comment tracker to find that it wouldn't download. Apart from it just taking me too long to call in help then it was a useful dry run.
The client had decided to go ahead on Tuesday so lets hope there is the band width to make it work!
I will say Kath Dawson a more immediate way to get a hold of me is with the hangout message chat box - I will be there ASAP if you use that :) Best of everything to you on Tuesday!!!
Heather Kraafter I had a complete brain fart when I was trying to reach you and couldn't remember how to start a chat! I could have started a hangout but not a chat. Numpty moment.
