I want to begin hosting HOAs with a monthly featured guest but have never hosted an event.

I want to begin hosting HOAs with a monthly featured guest but have never hosted an event.  Is there a community of people who are looking to practice HOAs on this site, or would any user be willing to help me work through some of the essentials?
