How can I find someone on Google+?

How can I find someone on Google+? 

I have someone's gmail email address and I know their name but there are so many people with the same name and most of them still do not have a profile picture.

How do you find the right person?  Is there an effective search feature that allows me to find someone within G+ simply based on their email address or other unique identifying feature?

User2User-LIVE! is meant to be an online interactive resource providing help for those using Hangouts On Air or Business-Hangouts On Air. To that end we have established a LIVE HelpDesk/Chat Room. The link to the room will be found under the "LIVE-HELP/CHAT-NOW!" Category.

The way it works is as follows:  
 a). The member desiring immediate help/chat clicks the link to the room and is immediately taken into a Business-Hangout Video Chat. Upon entering the room the member should type a message into the Unified Chat Area on the left side of the screen.
 b).Upon clicking the link to join the Help/Chat room an email notification was generated and sent to the "BellList" (a group of members who have volunteered to help answer member questions live).
 c) The requesting member should remain in the Help/Chat room long enough to allow the volunteers to respond to the email notification (usually 3-5 minutes).  

If you need to practice or need help with something but lack the time for a LIVE session, simply post a message here in the community and/or start a HOA and post the link in the community.

Unlike the very Public Events Page the BG+HOA Office Hours doesn't have Events page set up so if the email is lost there doesn't seem to be an easy way to find the Office Hours Hangouts to be able to go & ask questions & learn more about the program

I have a question
I watched the 2nd event on CCHOA last night. I understand that the point of view that Heather Kraafter was coming from is creating a Public live event whose primary venue (where Comments are allowed) is within her Community, so that people who are not part of the Community can see the event happening, but cannot comment unless they are (or become) a Community member.

I was trying to follow along, and I managed to go into YouTube and set up a new live event, scheduled for tonight. I used the QUICK option, and I pasted the link to the event into my Community. This community, however, is a fully Private one, so I understand at this point I veer off topic.

However, I am stuck. When the time comes to do the event tonight, do I go to the YouTube area, and start the event, and will it then just show in my Community and save there as a permanent production?

I'm having a go following the CCHOA intro and before the 'step_by_step' HOA in an hour.

Is HOA Down?

I ran into a problem Saturday evening on my BHO.

I ran into a problem Saturday evening on my BHO.
I had checked for the YouTube to be Private, made triple sure it was, but it played live right along with the BHO and anyone could see it.
I shut down the BHO, rescheduled another one for 5 minutes later, we all came back in and it was the same thing. I ended up stop broadcasting because of it and cancelled the BHO. 
I don't like it to be live anywhere but the room, until I have had the chance to edit the video for content, length etc.

Anyone else had this problem? 

Oh yeah, I had problems at one time with Participants dropping out of the list, still being in the filmstrip and still being a participant, but not showing up in auditorium, the list or the map. When we had the last update like 2 weeks ago it fixed that, everything was fine for 3 BHO's then Saturday the same thing happened. Anyone else experiencing that?

Have some issues going in to where I have to use the Where Am I app? I set it up the old way, which I didn't realize at the time.  Don't ask. That's what I'm nervous about. I've never used it. Setting up the Comment Tracker too (haven't used it yet in a show). 

Anyway, show is at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET. I will be in the green room by 4 pm PT. Is there anyone who is available at that time in case I need some help setting up using those apps? It's a sports Hangout - my partner has been plugging it like crazy on radio & Twitter so I want to make sure we start off on the right foot.

I have run into a slight situation.

I have run into a slight situation.
I had a hangout last night. I had my video listed as "unlisted" a member then posted it out to the web, which I did not want done.
However, the video shows up no where on my YouTube page for me to delete it, it only show up on his hosting and if you do a search on YouTube for it (as of last night).

Anyone know if/how to find it and get ride of it? And can I make my YouTube channel private (so only people I invite in can see what I have?)

Anyone else having trouble elevating a person to participant where they are getting a 404 error after registering for an HOA and then trying to immediately view it or join it? It has happended to one of my google accounts and to Scott Scowcroft when he was in my HOA this morning.
