HELP!

HELP!  SHOAE problems today already (EVENT goes live 10 AM EST USA). Can't load double bubble comment tracker (it loaded fine when I tested it last week). Getting this message: "There was an error loading your app!
This app did not load because there appears to be something wrong with it."
Tried closing window and re-opening three times: same thing. All extensions are off. Restarted my computer yesterday (not today; no time). Have to go to work and will be back just as my guest enters Green room (about 9:15 AM EST). Any help appreciated!
Otherwise, I guess I  have to keep checking visually on another tab/window on the G+ event page?

Thanks, all. Michael Daniels , Sheila Strover , Andrew Hatchett , Zara Altair , Adelheid Hörnlein

  1. Virginia Parsons had the same problem yesterday Sally Sue Ember . t happened to me many times that the comment tracker doesn't work at all.  And this is not the worst thing which can happen on HOAs, I have had many glitches and problems in the past: don't worry any more so much.... The best thing regarding comment tracker is to have another computer or tablet nearby to monitor the comments.

  2. Sally Sue Ember If the app isn't loading properly there isn't a lot you can do about it except to reboot and retry to load it.

  3. It is broken, Sally - we had major problems on Monday - the green icon kept spinning around...

  5. Events not being a part of G+ is causing many of the integration features you may be used to going a little haywire.
The best thing is to not panic and remember your guests and viewers are not there for the technology, they are there for YOU and YOUR CONTENT. Make your preparation for a good show that folks want to watch regardless of comments on screen or not.

  6. Sally Sue Ember COmment tracker has been less than reliable lately. I don't use a second computer to monitor comments on the event page. I just shrink the hangout window down so I can see the comments on the event page and respond to guests questions that way. Heather Kraafter is right on that the content you deliver your audience is the key, not the ability to flash comments on the screen. I hope this helps.

  7. Couldn't get it to play live, so tracking comments was moot! At least it recorded fine.
