Lowell Ann Fuglsang I don't know how to blur private info but I would remove it first and save that as a new document for the screen share if that was possible. Then you could just toss it when finished with the screen share and still have your original
It does take some time a work. I stopped using it and I just use an incognito window with my bookmarks bar turned off. And with manycam, I can draw right on screen so i can mark through what I don't want. Hope that helps
You can blur out parts of the video afterwards in YouTube at the Enhancements tab. I have done that. So you can keep the video private until you blur out what you want. But if it's a live public broadcast then you will have to blur it out live.
Russ Worthington. Anyone can do a screen capture and blur out an area right? I thought Lowell Ann Fuglsang was looking for something when she goes to screen share. I would have suggested snagit or even Pixlr that can edit the image before presenting. Unless, Russ I misunderstood you and you are saying you can do this "live" as you go
I have used it FastStone for this specific purpose as well as using a Hangout On Air video for my Blog. Screen Share the Image in the Screen Capture. I save it as a JPG / PNG file, and blur what I want. -- back in a minute -- dang, can't add an iimage

ReplyDeleteHave a look at the Stylbot extension. It was designed to do exaxtly what you are looking to do.

ReplyDeleteCraig Long I think you can still use draw, but you cannot screen share with the app turned on ( I think) which would not help in her situation

ReplyDeleteRuss Worthington I'm looking at the site and assume the one to select would be Capture 8? But I don't see anything that indicates blurring feature.
ReplyDeleteLowell Ann Fuglsang - The Names are blurred, right ? Not sure what you mean by Capture 8.
ReplyDeleteSorry
