Hi all I think maybe I have got this right, The ones who know me already know I am a problem child while the others who don't soon will. lol I am one of those people who can't do the simplest things like tie his own shoes without help but can think on many things at the same time. (Don't ask me how I just can) Maybe when you see I am an artist of many styles and different things it may give you that "aha" moment and can explain it for you lol (who knows) Anyway whenn it comes to getting these Hangouts On Air Live going it seems I can never find the same paths that everyone else follows as for some reason I am not getting the same things as everyone else because of Google "presto change o" shenanigans. Either that or I am just not looking at things completely. Hopefully I have done this right finally

I think the first thing you need is to get rid of all your extra Google accounts and emails and only use 1 to do any of the tasks. That is paramount.
ReplyDeleteThe next step is to follow one path that leads you to your desired end. If you do not know what you want to do, how can you know the way to get there?
Finally, once you have yourself down to one account, a clear direction is ahead of you THEN view the videos we have shared with you that share how to access and run a hangout on air.
If you still have questions we are here to help but a lot of this you must do first before we can successfully connect with you.

ReplyDeleteThats the issue . I have my personal page and my business page. However Google keeps asking me to start a new one everytime I try to sign up for something new. I think I may have it corrected at this point as it was Firefox that was disabling everything since the HTTPS change. I even had to re apply the form to User2User because I was not even showing up as a member which I submitted 2 months ago (or somewhere there abouts)

ReplyDeleteI will try that once again as my whole goal was to schedule these out ahead of time on the belief that I could just jump on them and go on a weekly or biweekly status without having to go through the headache and redundancy every time you want to set one up. Then you could just set up a "Calendar Of Events" This is not brain surgery but it appears I will have to outsource this to India or the Phillipines
I just watched the 40 min. video on BHOA and now have a huge headache, lmao, Apparently you can do all the scheduling you want, However are these also scheduled to Broadcast as Live events? i.e. if I wanted to broadcast a Live art event and/or art show?
ReplyDeleteArthur Morehead yes, that is how I do my weekly show each Tuesday, my paid for events for Drawing Lessons and even private events for other sessions I hold each month.

ReplyDeleteWell I surely see the light at this point and it was yours and a few others who have got me to see the inside of the operations which is what I need to get set up myself. However I have to keep painting also to build my portfolio back up as I have virtually sold everything (smaller pieces) and most of my commissioned work has come to an end with a 4year long relationship with another client. I need to get this Live broadcasting underway to supplement what I have lost in income being that my health has put a stop to my climbing days which means now I have to work mainly from a studio.
Arthur Morehead Ask yourself where do you want to build your audience and then find out how you want to deliver the content to them. Are they in a G+ community, on G+, on YouTube, or on your website? Are they on Facebook?

ReplyDeleteAll of the above, I mainly want the the traffic to come to my website but like most everyone I'll take it from where ever it comes from. The broadcasts of artist events and live painting will come from my studio However I will also bring in Live painting from local area events, interviews,food reviews, and other fun spots. some things planned others not.
