Arthur Morehead I guess it depends on how you use GMail...I personally don't take advantage of a lot of GMail capabilities - I just use it as regular email ( attach files, etc).
Peggy K It starts out saying changes to G Suite. If it affects both they shouldn't have said G Suite as that is misleading as it sounds like it's just for those who use G Suite. Thank you for the comment though :)
I think it's good news, but I have Fi as my carrier, so I'm not personally affected :)
ReplyDeletePeggy K Being the smartphoneless person that I am... ;)
ReplyDeleteWhats that mean for people who have Gmail but really don't use it much. Should we start? I use Outlook for my main email

Andrew Hatchett Thanks. I don't even use it for that. My mentors always sided with Outlook. To me I just don't know anymore.
ReplyDeleteI don't use G Suite so i don't know if it affects me or not. I also use inbox instead of gmail and i also use different sms tools for messaging.
ReplyDeleteRichard Clarkson the updates in the post affect both Consumer accounts and G Suite accounts.

ReplyDeletePeggy K This won't affect SMS over my Google Voice number in Hangouts, right? Google Voice is not affected?
ReplyDeleteCraig Long correct. Google Voice and Project Fi SMS won't be affected.
