I have a question, or rather a problem. I scheduled a live stream via YouTube and I noticed everything on my background was backwards. I know Toolbox used to remedy that issue but with it gone, what can I do?
I am sure it is and of course "mirroring" is just a term but not what exactly happens literally It's more complicated to go into film making detail of what actually is involved with the process when correcting the shot It just seems like magic lol I am not yet that savvy in camera knowledge and or cinematography (but I'm learning) I am running the OBS codec with three cameras and actually can use it as a switcher also. I hope to own one one day but until then you have to make do with what you can Besides it's free and does the same thing as all them do depending on what you add to the scene sources. Live Stream charges $1000 per month for the service because of their HDMI and if you want the full version of the studio software its 800 bucks! Meanwhile OBS studio is "open source" (free) and my streaming is only 170 a month through Infinity (speed 7 to 10)

ReplyDeleteyour view is not the same as what will be recorded
the viewers will see it correctly.
oh, ok, lol, thank you Heather Kraafter
ReplyDeleteMakes it annoying though if your painting a Live landscape painting. You can usually "mirror" that setting, Drives me nuts also =/
ReplyDeleteArthur Morehead if you mirror your camera in the live broadcast using hangouts on air, then the folks watching will see it incorrectly.
ReplyDeleteThis is another reason I enjoy using Business Hangouts, it's an automatic feature of using the app.
