Great article!

Great article!

How to write an effective Google+ poll question
Now that you can create polls in Google+, it's probably a good idea to understand some basic parameters and vocab. I found this helpful guide that details the difference between Polls, Quizzes, and Surveys (so you know what you're creating, and what you aren't). Reminds me of my marketing class in grad school where we learned how to construct and analyze market research surveys, focus groups, etc.

Sorry for the lack of thumbnail image, this was written in 2011 when big images and open graph tags weren't cool. I still hope you'll see this in your stream and click through.

And lastly, some totally unsolicited advice & insight when it comes to Google+ updates: I could have totally spun this into an infographic or blog post, and gained G+ fame out the wazoo because I was first to market with a tip on how to write a good poll, but that isn't my strategy. I don't sell Google+ Poll Creation Services, do you?

I'd rather you go read the article and learn something for yourself, then apply it. Skip the infographic and the blog post, unless of course your business depends on such things being created and shared by lots of marketers (and to those people, I thank you in advance for what you do so I don't have to).
