HI Andrew Hatchett I was telling a colleague about the popular and regular hangouts that happen on plus and I began wondering if there were any that are very popular that I may not be aware of. Then I remember that you did this post daily(?) so thought I'd come check it out.
Can I ask, how you select the hangouts you mention?
When I browse events I'm not sure if its showing me all events that are scheduled or f its personalising them somehow.
+Kath Dawson, I ask all User2User Community members to invite me to any public Hangout On Air they are hosting or being a panelist on so that I can reply "Maybe". That puts their event on my calendar and then I just daily check my events and do a screen capture of the events and post them. Community Members can also post an announcement of their event in the "Members Hosted HOA" category in the Community menu.
Andrew Hatchett sorry, forgot to ask, if you go to the events tab from the menu on the left of your profile is the list under "upcoming events" comprehensive or personalised?
Kath Dawson I believe it is personalized depending on how one has done their setup. Fro example... if I go to my profile I see only 1 event for today even though I've responded to 5 (4 Maybes 1 Yes) but if I go to my G+ events it shows all 5. Truthfully, I hardly ever look at my profile page or my home stream as I mostly do things by either email or posting from specific communities.
