I have downloaded Manycam again and watched your tutorial Michael Daniels - and I tried it out, BUT.....
1. question: is there a place where I can read how to use the features?
2. I uploaded videos and succeeded to start them. How can I re-start them a second time?
3. How can I upload more than 5 items and use them when their time comes? I noticed that items disappear from PLAYLIST when I have used them once.
4. The quality of moving pictures (text) was poor and even poorer the sound of the background music, also interruptions occured towards the end . Is there a way to have good quality?

First of do you have the paid version?
ReplyDelete1) If you do have the paid version I believe in the menu it has something that says "get help" or "learn more" were they have small short demo videos.
2) Once a video is loaded and the 6 screen area where the video is located and it says "LIVE" you can go to the playlist and start, stop, and adjust volume.
3) You can set up one of the six displays to have a playlist you have chosen. I don't so this a lot, but I know Russ Worthington did this for me when we did our mobile HOA. Maybe he can add some insight here!
4) Video and multiple windows and sound all require a VERY, Very fast system to handle all of the processing. If you look at some of the game shows that I do, there is lag and other issues that come about. I cannot use my high speed laptop because it cannot handle all of the processing going on.
I hope this helps.
Michael Daniels Yes, I have the paid version. And I have imagined that it might be the computer. I think I need to buy a very good one to fulfill my dream on my upcoming show. I already have quite a good computer, Macbook Pro, but more than 5 years old.... And I might try it with only one thing open and see if there are better results.
ReplyDeleteStill have to figure out how these things work. Thanks for the tip of the tutorials. I couln't find much via Google search
One note to add.... all the features that i have and demo are not available on the MAC version, so please keep that in mind
ReplyDeleteOh, this is then an additional challenge..... and probably a source of confusion, not knowing if it just doesn't work versus I am not able to make it work.....

ReplyDeleteI agree with the resources on the PC. I close down as much stuff as I can IF I am going to use ManyCam.
I have used all 6 screens / windows. Usually have 4 running for each HOA. The settings appear to be remembered between session. I usually reset what I need but double check how each window is set up.
Not sure what your play list question is. You need to Save it if you are going to use it again.
Hope that helps,
Russ
