Hello User2User-LIVE! [The Page] Community!

I joined late last week as I was preparing for my 2nd HOA, and am grateful to be part of this group as I always seem to have new challenges pop up as I prepare. It is a great to have a place to go with questions, and for me to offer support when (if!) I know a potential solution. I look forward especially to joining a chat, but haven't quite figured it out yet. ( Iwill look right after I finish this post.)

My name is Melita, and I was inspired to learn more about HOAs when I was at a Wealthy Thought Leader event with Andrea J. Lee about 2 years ago. I was able to attend a few of her events, both live and via Livestream webcast. I thought how useful a tool that would be to help amplify the global conversation in my own area of expertise - sexuality & gender education.

However, when I looked into Livestream, it seemed like a cost prohibitive tool and it didn't really seem to work on mobile devices. (Has anyone worked with Livestream? I would love to know your experienced with it vs. HOAs.)

When I started looking into Livestream last spring, someone mentioned HOAs. I got VERY excited, and have been working with coach Denise Wakeman to learn more about how to use this fantastic (though sometimes glitchy) tool. 

I have had the pleasure to not only conduct 2 HOA interviews, but also to webcast 2 workshops from the live Gender Spectrum conference from California to Mexico City in late July. 150 people attended the webcast, and 40 of them were government officials. (This exceeded all expectations, and I am hoping to be able to interview the team on an upcoming #Censored2Celebrated  HOA to find out what the effect has been since we did this webcast.) At the time, it was a VERY big deal that so many people attended the webcast as violence against transgender and gender expansive youth has been a big problem in Mexico City.

I interviewed the couple - Isolda & Enrique - who made this possible, and made a quick video about it. (I am not sure how much to share in this intro, but this is one of the ways I think video & HOAs can be such a game changer in my field. Can you tell how excited I am about this!!!????)

Here's a little bit more about how I am using HOAs:
Censored2Celebrated is a free monthly webcast expanding the global celebration of sexuality & gender diversity, one conversation at a time.

My goal is to feature a wide range of guests who are professionally and personally celebrating the diversity of sexuality & gender, and are willing to have a "come as you are" conversation on a Saturday for 30 minutes. The webcast is free to all in order to expand the conversation using the accessible, global medium of #HOAs.
