Hi, all. I can't attend live today but if anyone can answer, please PING me and I'll see it later.
I've sent #Feedback to #G+ several times but nothing has changed: the "#Send #message" function on the invitation box DOES NOT WORK.
No matter which category of respondents/non respondents I check/uncheck, the SEND button returns my message with : "Your message was not sent. Please try again." Trying again; same result.
3 months of this.
I want to use it for #SHOAE reminders, right?
Help?

  1. I am not sure what you are saying?

Are we talking on the Event or in a Hangout?

  2. Sally Sue Ember Like Michael, I'm unclear as to which "Send Message" button you mean. Can you provide a screenshot?

  3. OK, you are talking about the Event "messages".
This is very common.  I have seen where it will not show any of your "no's".  I have seen where you don't get a message button.  I have seen where you get where you have gotten and then you cannot leave a message, so I suggest you keep sending in feedback.

  4. Sally Sue Ember -- Andrew Hatchett amd Michael Daniels have responded with great information.

As for your Last line, about using #SHOAE reminders, IF I say Yes, or Maybe, it the #SHOAE  will be added to MY Google+ Calendar, so that I control my reminders.

Is that the reminder you were talking about?

  6. Sally Sue Ember I agree with Michael Daniels.  That message button is one of the flakiest things about Hangouts. You can try and use it but I think it either doesn't show up or fails 99% of the time. It is so frustrating that I don't even try to use it anymore.

  7. Thanks, Michael Daniels  and Andrew Hatchett  for confirming the problems. Heard of any work-arounds that do the same thing?

  8. No not really any work arounds.  What are you trying to accomplish?

  9. Michael Daniels Sending out messages to those who have not responded and reminders to share the Event for those who have.

  10. If the intention is to reply to everyone you could create a post that goes to the people, circles, communities you invited.
