We will be broadcasting our event from our website. When we create the event there is a space to put the website URL. Is THIS where we would put the URL of the page the HOA will be hosted. AND how would I make sure people looking at the event on the EVENT page of G+ understand where to watch it?
Leila Martin Yes, put website URL in space so marked. I would also put the same link in the details section (at the very beginning) as well as making it the first comment on the event page - I'd then disable comments so it would be the only comment on the event page. Thus they should understand that they have to go to the website to see the event.
ReplyDeleteLeila Martin how are you creating the event? If you create just a regular event then you should find the field for adding the website in the advance options. If you are creating a Scheduled HOA Event (which you shouldn't! ) then it doesn't have that option.
ReplyDeleteAndrew Hatchett thank you and also many thanks for the reminder/hint to put the URL at the very beginning of the details section and making it the first comment on the event then disable comments. ALL THAT, I did not know - big hugs ! paulino brener we are starting it as a regular event so I see where to put it in the advanced options - many thanks.
ReplyDeleteRayne Dowell we are embedding the show on our website. Most of our viewers initially will be from our aweber list. Our clients are not on G+. That's not to say dog lovers are not on G+ but I believe most people who will come to see it will be from FB and our list so they would be lost to watch it on G+
ReplyDeleteI saw that, I'm going to try to make it. I replied yes so if I can't make it live then at least I'll have it on my calendar so I can watch the replay. Thanks for the heads up Rayne Dowell so hopefully see you tomorrow ;-)
