I want to run this by the Community before I leave feedback or post the tutorial in my Collection.

I want to run this by the Community before I leave feedback or post the tutorial in my Collection.

Have you sent a private message in the new G+ and experienced what is recorded in this video?

Since it could be me, someone let me know if I'm off track here or if you are experiencing the same. Thanks!

Ping Michael Daniels - thinking you may have used this at work and know more than I. :)

  1. Sheila Hensley when you search, leave off the plus. Just search the person and it should come up fine.

  3. As far as the new box, it does show with the last used community or collection. A lot people don't like this, I agree, but I have gotten used to it most of the time.

  4. Yes, you were correct sir!  That fixed it. Michael Daniels I just had a feeling something wasn't quite right.  Search makes it easier, yes, but still not intuitive so I'll fix the video to show my new students how to send a PM in the New G+

Don't mind the last shared being there, just want it to be easier to share a private message.  Well I guess it is now that I know how.  Much appreciate kind sir. :)

  6. I think the Easiest way to explain is.... if you want to plus mention someone so they get a notification then use the plus.  When you search someone just put their name.  That is how i have to remember it.

  9. Thanks Elaine Nieberding. Without Michael Daniels and the comments here it wouldn't be quite as helpful. Love that about communities!
