Ode to a Pillow

Ode to a Pillow

Off in search of a pillow to find,
To sooth my brow and calm my mind,
So I'll just toddle off to bed,
At last to rest my weary head.
But I'll return when comes the dawn,
And I awake and stretch and yawn.

And as the ads say..."Nytol!"

  1. Andrew Hatchett must have confused his thesaurus with his book by Keats on Friday night, or maybe it is a secret message, let's see "find, mind, bed, head, dawn, yawn, Nytol"....... Who can solve it first? Either way, among his many talents he is also a poet and I didn't know it.

  3. Bill Graham My father used to say in these circumstances, "I'm a poet and don't know it." To which my mother would always reply, "Your feet do...they're Longfellows." I can tell you that the part I inherited has nothing to do with poetry as I drag around my size 15 feet....truly "Longfellows!"
