Faster Web Pages on Android
Today we're starting to roll out support for Accelerated Mobile Pages (https://www.ampproject.org/) in the new Google+ Android app (version 9.2). Now when you browse G+ on Android, look for the little lightning bolt icon to load articles up to 4x faster and using up to 10x less data.

They really are pretty fast. AMP sites are really popular on news apps, etc., I'm in the process of getting one. They really are different than desktop sites, all the code, etc., It's a mobile thing ;)
