Have a registered guest attempting to enter the room prior to event start time for unified chat.

Have a registered guest attempting to enter the room prior to event start time for unified chat. They continue to get a prompt for password request. Any ideas?

  1. Yes, they do not have THEIR registration link.

They must use the link that they received in their email.  Or if they added it to there calendar, that will have a correct link

  2. Thanks Mike! So they need to use registration link versus the "join meeting" link for accessing unified chat before or after actual event start & stop time, correct?

  3. If registration IS required then they must use that link to get in. Since it is required you have come in with that link.

  4. to recreate the "registered guest" experience, I signed in to my BHOA unified chat on my wife's computer successfully using the join meeting link after registering...w/o any password prompt. all that said, why would my registered guest attempting to enter the room prior to event start time for unified chat access be stopped with prompt for password? request.

  6. Be sure to come to bhoa office hours at noon eastern today for clarification.
You said registration is mandatory. If registration is mandatory, then you must use the registration link to get in. If you signed in on your wife's computer under your name. Then all is well. But if you signed in your wife's computer with your name you can get in with either one.
