Let's Talk Profiles!
Let's Talk Profiles!
It is often stressed how important it is to have a profile soooo...
Let us do an autopsy of a profile and see which parts are REALLY important to the majority of people who actually look at them.
On a scale of 1 to 26 (1=most important 26=least important), how would you rate the following in order of importance when setting up a Google+ Profile Page?

Thank you Andrew Hatchett for sharing this. I am going to pass it on!!!
ReplyDeleteI have very simple needs when I look at a profile... Do you have a picture? Is it of you or your cat? Do you ever make posts? Are they borderline offensive or do they actually pertain to something I am interested in?
ReplyDeleteBy this time I have already decided if I will circle or not circle - if I circle I look a little deeper into the profile for "which circle" should I put you into.
No scale of 1 to 26 for me, just put in as much as you would want me to know int hat amount of time if you want me to add you. If you want to remain alone on G+ or make it hard for me to find out more about what you do - leave it all blank, and I will move on. LOL
I would add to Heather's list (picture and posts) just give me a quick overview of your interests - so I not only know that I want to circle you but where I want to put you (it's all good) - photography, politics, genealogy, technology, social media, history, law - you get the idea. Some days I want to check in with and/or post NOT to the public but to those who share that interest AND I don't want to bother someone who is not in that circle. That is the very good thing about Google+. Thanks.
