I'm having trouble loading the Comment Tracker App.

I'm having trouble loading the Comment Tracker App. It has worked valiantly for weeks, but does not want to accommodate me in my own OR OTHER'S hangouts.

Can anyone give me a clue?

I've restarted my Windows 7...

I've reopened Chrome, which is up to date...

Tried to load the App from a hangout on air from various inside link options...

Just tells me, "There was an error loading your app!"
"This app did not load because there appears to b something wrong with it."

Anyone, please advise. Thank you in advance.

Roland

  1. Thanks, Rayne. I'll give Firefox a try. Chrome is up to date as per the version you mentioned. Thanks!

  2. Are you using the standalone comment tracker app or the one with toolbox?  You could try going to the standalone installation page and starting a hangout from there to see if that will open it for you http://www.allmyplus.com/comment-tracker/#about

  3. Thank you Carol Dodsley  - tried as you suggested, and it failed the same way. Such an interesting problem. I appreciate the suggestion.  :o)

  4. Have you tried what Rayne Dowell suggested?
I just tried it and it is working flaulessly.
Are you trying to get public comments?
I know I have made the mistake in the past of creating my Event and not include the public when I first first setup, So the comments would not be public.

  5. Yes, Michael Daniels  , I've tried Rayne's suggestion with no success. Two weeks ago, we had it mastered, I thought. I've done some experimenting, restarted Windows, all with no changes. I believe it is exclusive to my computer, because I have been the HOA initiator, and a secondary joiner invited in, and both times C.T refused to load.

I also made the mistake several months ago of not making my HOA public, however, I am cured of that.  :o)

  6. If you think it is isolated to your computer, i would clear cache and cookies to help clean the browser. Also, on chrome i would remove all extensions and then add them call one by one to find the culprit

  7. Thanks, Michael Daniels . Tested on my laptop, and comment tracker worked fine. So, we are isolating the issue to this one computer. As per Tim Longwell 's suggestion a while ago, I cleared browser cache, and I am now performing some disk cleanup.

    Thanks, all. I'll report back.

  8. Eureka! Tim Longwell , Michael Daniels , Rayne Dowell , and Carol Dodsley .... also Bill Graham is interested in the outcome....

Tim jumped in Hangout with me working on my laptop, and saw that I had C.T. working, and suggested as Michael did, to clear cache and cookies on my problem computer.

This apparently worked. And, probably improved my 'puter's performance in other areas as well.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the help.  :o)
