  1. 10 including the host is what I recall. 15 if you have a special Google account (don't know the type of account - maybe a google employee?)

  2. Google apps subscription HOA allows 15, standard HOA/BHOA is 10

  3. Be careful  John Jurkiewicz   if you go the Google business app route as this can throw up its own problems.

  4. Lon McClure what you call a "special Google account" is in fact accessible to anyone for $50 per year through Google (aka Google For Work). It's accessible to all .edu (Schools and Universities) for free. It's also accessible to all non profits for free.
There are a few things which are different when you use BHO with a Google Apps account vs. a free account. You have more capabilities with Google Apps, so a few more things to know and manage like the restriction to a domain, security, etc.
John Jurkiewicz , as  Tim Longwell said both for a HOA or BHOA, the capacity of the filmstrip is the same: 10 or 15 depending on your underlying Google account. BHO's benefit is in having viewers interacting in the chat, in a private setup, and they can be easily brought into the filmstrip or taken back to their seats, and a few other capabilities.

  5. Thanks Tim Longwell  and Darius Lahoutifard  for filling in some blank spots for me. I do, in fact, have a Google Apps account that I use for our hang gliding club. Good to know that I can include more peeps in a HOA BHOA if I use that account to initiate the session. I currently use my personal G+ and BH account to host their meetings.
