Hi Andrew Hatchett

Hi Andrew Hatchett . I am still trying to figure out the Toolbox thing. Vivekananda Baindoor Rao suggested to delete the app and re-install it, but it gives me the same error:
this is what I get:

401. That’s an error.

Error: invalid_client

no registered origin

Request Details
That’s all we know.

And my guest whoi has downloaded the toolbox for the very first time, gets the error, too. Is there anybody who knows what 401 and "
no registered origin" means?

  2. Thanks Andrew for coming back to answer my question.
Actually, I am not on Windows at all and haven't changed anything during the last weeks. In early october the hangout toolbox still worked. And I am logged into my account, my page from where I always had done the broadcasts. I wonder how I would register and what and where.
I wonder who would know that? I feel quite helpless with these strange messages.

From what I'm seeing I'm beginning to think the Hangout Toolbox is a lost cause as the developer, owner, and moderators of the Hangout Tollbox Community aren't responding at all/ There is nothing end-users can do to cure the problem.

  4. Adelheid Hörnlein -- just a thought on your Mac, Safari or Firefox. See if either of them work. I know there I have experienced issues with Chrome.

  6. Andrew Hatchett This doesn't sound good. So sad that things which worked wonderfully and we were happy about just get sacrificed for whatever reason. Not all progress is progress. I see it also in the Mac world. Some crazy things appear with updating the system where before everything was smooth. Too bad. I wonder why they care so little....

  7. Adelheid Hörnlein You have to remember that Hangout Toolbox isn't really a Google Product but rather an App developed by individuals. Google can't fix this- only the original developers.

  9. Adelheid Hörnlein: these kinds of issues, still problems 2.5 months later, are the reasons I haven't resumed my show. Please let me know, anyone-- Andrew Hatchett, Michael Daniels, Zara Altair, etc., when it's worthwhile to host a HOA, again? I hope, by January...?

  10. Sally Sue Ember We are starting our new series tonight, means in 2 hours from now. No idea if anyone will come and watch, difficult to let people know and they seem to be disappeared quite a bit - as I myself was a little distant lately from G+ because of all the changes which make things so much more difficult

  11. Good luck! I can't watch (traveling), but keep me posted as to hosting results. I have PTYTSD (Post-Traumatic YouTube Stress Disorder) since they unfairly kicked me off and jailed me for several weeks for no reason in September, anyway. LOL

  12. I am trying out comment tools, FAcbook comments need moderation during the show, not really helpful. The other is paid, I am on free trial so far.
I had some viewers. not as many as in former times. But I think we have to get used to it, also because as soon as Google classic is gone we have no ways to put people into circles (at least no easy ways, I think) to which you could send invitations....
Come and watch next Friday and help to find out the best way!
