I've found that +1ing an original or shared post in the notifications stream appears to work but when I go back to that post (either in my stream or in notifications) my +1 does not "stick". If I +1 the post in my stream, it sticks.

Is anyone else experiencing this apparent anomaly?

Nice to have power back after almost four days in the dark! Power came back on late Saturday night so catching up on chores that we use power to accomplish and stowing the emergency gear so that it is ready for next time. Good to be back!

Hey everyone, my big sis is a published author on Amazon (ebook). Her one book is doing well but she would like to know more about where the traffic is coming from and how to maximize it.

What SaaS offerings are out there that will provide her with all of the metrics? She already uses Google Analytics. Is there similar information available that includes traffic that originates on Amazon?

She is also having trouble keeping up with social media posts. What, besides Friends+Me, is available for cross-posting/scheduled posting? She is just getting into the tracking/optimizing so is currently only interested in "free trial" or "limited" accounts that she can try out free of charge prior to committing to.

Gmail and Google Drive have had trash folders for so long we hardly even think of them as features anymore. Last week Google announced the trash folder is finally making it’s way to your Calendar.

I know that many of you here are social media gurus and will be able to point me in the right direction.

I know that many of you here are social media gurus and will be able to point me in the right direction. My sister is getting ready to publish a book on Amazon and is seeking assistance in getting set up on social media. Anyone know of trustworthy persons that provide that service?

I've been kind of scarce of late.

I've been kind of scarce of late. We've had a shortage of assistants at the training hill so I've been out there every day for the past week.  Great crop of students this year. Really gung-ho! Here are three of them...

Well, this is curious. When I select "Yes" or "Maybe" on an HOA Event, my Google Calendar is no longer updating.

Well, this is curious. When I select "Yes" or "Maybe" on an HOA Event, my Google Calendar is no longer updating.

I just noticed today that the reminder for Roland's Saturday Morning Smarties was not on my calendar even though I replied "Maybe" several days ago. I've since responded to several other Events on G+ and they are not updating either.

Anyone else experiencing this? What setting have I messed up that would stop this desired behavior?
