Rayne Dowell To be perfectly honest...I have no idea. I rarely, if ever, use Comment Tracker so am not that familiar with it. ;)
ReplyDeleteI just used it in a practice session tonight before Ben put out his update Rayne Dowell very slick but it was a total surprise. You're just going to have to use it to see. They don't give us any notice of changes so we have to adjust on the fly.
ReplyDeleteRayne Dowell and Sheila Hensley I was just in a HOA with Russ Worthington and apparently there seems to be some problem with using the new Comment Tracker with ManyCam. That is all I know at this point.

ReplyDeleteThe non-plugin appears to have been removed, I had it earlier, when I was having a problem, now the new Comment Tracker is working AND I have camera control back.
Can't tell (YET) if the problem is the non-plugin or Manycam
I am glad we had our HOA at noon eastern and not this afternoon or tonight.

Rayne Dowell I can't tell you thank you enough for this link earlier!
ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon the new version while trying to set up the proper incorporation of the comment tracking into OBS. The method of adding sources is completely different and took me some time to sort out. I couldn't copy the url of a post and paste it in, the only way I could get a source into CT was to do a google search? I'm probably wrong and am just not finding it intuitive. It might work real well if people use hashtags consistently on their various posts as one could search for the hashtag and collect comments from everything that mentioned it. The old method of checking the reshares doesn't seem to be in the new standalone version. I'd be interested in others opinions/experiences with the new one. This might be a good topic for a tutorial if anyone feels confident enough in their understanding of the new version to give it a go.
