Nina Amir Basically what Michael is saying is to use an external USB mic of whatever, you can afford. I have had many many hours of great success with a wireless headset from Logitech. It folds up for easy traveling and is charged through USB port while in use or not. Your best options for a good HOA experience is to use an external camera and mic (headsets with mic). The external camera (I use a logitech C920) usually has it's own processor to it allows the computer to do it's own thing instead of processing video and everything else. If you are going to be stuck to a desktop for HOA's then look at a Snowball or a Blue Yetti - both available at any electronics store like Target, Amazon etc. for around $100 or so. The c920 is about $80. My headset (logitech H600 was about $60 I think
Everyone has told me to get a Blue Yetti. Ordering it now. I will purchase the camera, too. Thanks for the info. Do you put it on a tripod and have it on your desk or something? Trying to tell from the photos....
Not sure what a pod cast mic is, but I can tell you what I am using. I use a USB studio condenser mic from Samson.
