Richard Clarkson be sure you send feedback to Google+ directly about the features you are missing. The new Google+ is still being developed, and they do pay attention to feedback.
Peggy K i've sent probably 70 feedbacks on the comment notifications on the bell not working or is real slow letting you know you have any new comments. sometimes an hour or more. you have to keep clicking on it or touching it to get it to show you if you have any new ones
Richard Clarkson Mr. Jingles hasn't been updated to the new Google+, so hopefully that will happen and notifications will be more reliable. I'd like to be able to easily find mentions as well.
Richard Clarkson mods can ban people from their Community. But it would be not good if Community mods could affect users overall Google+ accounts - I know you would only use the power for real spammers, but others might try to get people banned because of personal feuds.

ReplyDeleteAlso, mentions aren't in the new one but they are in the classic. I've sent numerous feedbacks on that also.
