Help me to understand the advantages of this method over YouTube Live Chat. I understand that the comments will remain after the Hangout ends but folks going to your YouTube channel won't see them. Trying to get viewers to join your Space on the web or add the app on mobile seems problematic as well. Not trying to throw cold water on your investigations into the whole live comments problems which are much appreciated but not sure this is a viable solution.
Gary Solomon I like the fact that further discussion can take place. And that there is a great way to invite like minded people to a common subject. Categorise your HOA by Space and invite people to a topic like you would a collection
I guess your main plan is to replace the event page and so all those viewers would've been on G+. The migration from that to Spaces might make sense for that use case. I'm looking at viewers who are not necessarily on G+ and will participate only if the chat is easy, obvious, and right next to the viewer on a YouTube page 😏
