Oh dear, it hasn't actually sunk in that Blab has shut down. I didn't know that, probably because I've been a bit 'off the air' for about 5 weeks - by choice.
Arthur Morehead Afraid not in the same way - it is aimed at a different demographic and they stated earlier this year they were not a platform for shows or content creators
Andrew Hatchett If you are looking for a multiperson live stream platform that is easy to use and free then many of us moved to Firetalk.com - others are using Huzza.com but it is a paid platform if you want multiple people to join on screen
And some are looking at Crowdcast as a paid platform which really is more like a webinar platform - you will recall us looking at that probably 18 months to two years ago
Krishna De HOAs are just moving solely to YouTube but they have been there for a few years anyway. You just eventually won't have a G+ Event page to use with them but you can find a substitute like Business Hangouts to basically save all the chats. Saving the chat is basically the most important.
Craig Long It's consolidating but to my mind it's probably going to lose the name GHOA and we'll all know it as YouTube live streaming until they bring out the long awaited YouTube Live that they mentioned a few months ago - hence my comment
Krishna De Do you use a Chromebook? I'm asking because Chromebook users can't as yet use the higher quality YouTube Live that has been available to us non-Chromebook users for quite some time now.
