Richard Clarkson I'm pretty sure the Friends+Me exporter does not use the Google+ API, so it won't be affected by API issues which could start as early as the 28th.
But I suspect that not using the API may be why the Exporter activity may look like a bot scraping content and trigger a CAPTCHA.
after the 28th is it going to really matter if there is a fix or not?

Peggy K it's been fixed but after the 28th the consumer G+ hypothetically won't exist so exporter can't get what isn't there

ReplyDeleteThe Google+ API is what outside developers use to access Google+. So it will affect services like Hootsuite.
It will not affect Google+ itself.
