I’ve been away from Google+ HOAs for quite a while and am just now returning.

I’ve been away from Google+ HOAs for quite a while and am just now returning. I experimented with different platforms, doing my half-hour interview show (TV Skywriter) on Blab, Firetalk, and a few others, but decided to give Google+ another try.

Upon my return, my first show went fine, although I was surprised that the entry point is now YouTube. However, my second show was a total mess; the replay was useless and I had to set a date to redo the interview with my guest. The third show started out badly—the first couple of minutes that served as the “green room” was recorded even though I hadn’t clicked the Broadcast button yet! And the first couple of minutes after clicking the Broadcast button went unrecorded.

It seems that Google+ HOAs are much worse than ever but I hope and pray that everything gets sorted out and that I simply experienced a couple of random glitches.

You may have gotten an "unknown error" message when trying to post comments on YouTube. That issue has been resolved, but due to a bug, you may also have incorrectly received a warning email from the Google+ team. We're working to resolve any such warnings and restrictions that were issued in error.

If you received notice that a restriction has been applied to your Google+ account, you can use the instructions in that notification to directly appeal the restriction.

Today I ordered a SuperBook, expected to ship in 2017. It is a Kickstarter campaign that has raised almost 3 million dollars.

The SuperBook is a shell (keyboard, 1080p monitor, trackpad and a USB connector). The USB plugs into your Android smartphone and the SuperBook becomes a laptop running your Android software through an app called Andronium OS.

You can try out Andronium OS using Google Chromecast, a keyboard and a mouse.

I find this all very interesting and wonder if this might be the way we will eventually go instead of trying to run Android OS on a Chromebook?

Our tenth Google+ iOS app update of the year is rolling out to Apple's App Store starting today. In this release we took a number of key features previously implemented as Web code and re-wrote it as native iOS code, which should provide a faster/smoother experience. Specifically:

* Create Community
* Edit Community
* Updated Featured Collections card in stream

As always, please send us your ideas/issues using our Send Feedback menu item in the app as that's the best way to make sure we see them. Thanks~
