I would like to ask a question about inviting people to a Live Event on YouTube.

I would like to ask a question about inviting people to a Live Event on YouTube.  I am inviting them from my Google Page and they never get the invite. Someone who has joined me (he is a Google + user) has to send them the link to join the hangout. I know the people should be or must be on Google + to be invited is this correct?  Is it because I am a Page or what?  Thanks in advance.

    Family Tree Tours Heritage Travel Unfortunately, I don't 'do' pages or YT Live Events; and thus will be of little help. I'm sure, however, that members who do use them will chime in.

    Thanks Andrew,  I am new to this and I think it starts as a You Tube live event and then goes to a Google Hangout??? so I may have this worded wrong. I guess I am asking if you can invite Google + members to a Hangout from your Page.

    +Heather Kraafter - Thanks for your help, the situation is we are holding a Hangout from my FTT page and when I invite someone in the hangout she claims she doesn't get the invite (which should be on her G+ page right? or gmail?) I have to have my team member who I also invite through G+ and he has to send her the link.  Think it is her or me?  :)

    okay, by invite, I now see you mean "to be a member of film strip, in the video WITH you"

    When doing this from a PAGE vs a PROFILE things can get tricky.

    You have several things to remedy and then it is still a bit tricky, but doable.

    first - the person you are trying to invite MUST have the PAGE in a CIRCLE and it can NOT be the FOLLOWING circle.
    second - the PAGE must have the person in a circle as well.
    third - this should be done at least 24 hours before the invite!!

    this should help get invites easier but still not a guarantee - this is one of the biggest issues with PAGES.

    now, if after all that and they still do not see the invite, they should go TO the PAGE and see a "you have been invited" notation.

    That usually works fine.

    Once you have done this and successfully gotten in together, the next time should be easier.

    MY FINAL SUGGESTION is to follow Ronnie Bincer suggestions for inviting folks in - I will find that post with tips and link it here for you.

    Heather Thank You!!   I love Ronnie Bincer, we are just new at this and I think your suggestions should help. So you mean the "invitee" should go to my Page or to their Profile page?  I think that was part of the problem at first one of us was following. I will tell her, we are going to try to pull this off on Saturday.  Thank you all so much.

    yes, the invitee should go to your PAGE (inviter) and look for the invite there if it does not show in their notifications.
