Hello User2User folks!

Hello User2User folks!
I have 2 questions:

1) Does anyone do #HOAs or YouTube Live on the go? I am getting ready to be on the road for 2 months, and am trying to figure out what this could look like, and how interactive it would be. [Michael Daniels - I believe you mentioned using your phone for baseball games?]

2) This may be off-topic, but I sure would appreciate help from tech-savvy people. Can you let me know if the PayPal Add to Cart button works for you? I've had a comment that it didn't work, and think I fixed it.  But this seems to be challenging to check myself. (NO purchase necessary - please just let me know if it seems to be working for you.)

Thanks in advance for all the great support!
Melita

  1. Melita Noël Cantú I use my phone to broadcast a baseball game.  Not really interactive.  But you could certainly do that. I would recommend using a laptop and incorporate your phone as a remote camera.  Keep in mind bandwidth WILL be an issue.
Russ Worthington did a great thing with Dear MYRTLE in their "Ambush cam" where they had folks join in as they were at a conference.

  2. Melita Noël Cantú - I get this error for Add to Cart :

  3. Thanks Rayne Dowell, Michael Daniels & Lon McClure!

I think I got the PayPal worked out on my website. Relief!

Michael & Rayne, I clearly need to do some beta tests here in Austin once I get my new laptop. Luckily, I love my Samsung phone and tablets, so have good options on that front.

I should have my new laptop int he next week or two, and will ping you to see if you are available to help me witha beta test.

BTW, Michael, have you ever done an HOA from a MLB game? I'm hoping to be at Fenway for at least one game this summer, and wondered if anyone is doing live events from big games like that. (Or is it prohibited?)

    Thanks all!!!

  4. Melita Noël Cantú The Fenway games being major league events, I would not be at all surprised that they would forbid broadcasting them without (paid for) permission. You'd better do some serious Googling first!

  5. Melita Noël Cantú the add to cart button (associated with your books page) worked just fine for me. I could confirm the inclusion of the selection in "view cart" but I did not proceed to pay for same.
