Looking for a solution: We have had three HOAs, where one or two people, on the Panel (in the Filmstrip) could NOT hear another panelist. Totally Weird. The solution was to REFRESH the browser.
Also, twice, my lower 3rd would not show up, even when it was turned on. The Beta Comment Tracker comments wouldn't show up either. Again, REFRESH resolved this.
Any clues ? or is anyone else having these issues? Browser, not platform (Mac / PC) didn't matter. One person in our community suggested an update to Chrome, but we had other browsers with the sound issue.
Thank you,
Russ
I have only been able to make HOA's work properly with Firefox (HVC's work ok) for a little over two weeks. But Pixlr's Editor will not load for me using Firefox, only Chrome!!!! What are these people trying to do to us?!?!?
ReplyDeleteI've been getting freeze-ups in the thumbnails AND main view window in HOA's. I've experienced twice the audio issue that a refresh fixed.
Terry Leigh Britton - Thank you for that. We have had a couple of freeze-ups from a couple of people. Usually those on WiFi. Sorry to hear about Pixlr.
ReplyDeleteI know when I had the problem earlier today, I restarted my computer as usual. But Friday, I didn't and had lower 3rd issue, and several people had voice issues within the panel. One person could hear the Producer, but that one person couldn't hear the Host, nor the Co-Producer (the "producer was in training" She could hear the Host and myself, so we gave her instructions to the person who couldn't hear us. Refresh resolved hat.
Weird.
Thank you,
Russ
Russ Worthington Thank goodness for the text features of hangouts! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat for those little instructions they cannot hear you saying!
this reminds me of the issue we had Andrew Hatchett Michael Daniels and John Jurkiewicz when Andrew could not hear you guys.
ReplyDeleteI had to go out and come in again 4 times last week for my HOA's Comment Tracker and Toolbox Lower Third to work at all, but audio between me and my guest was fine.
ReplyDeleteRuss Worthington, as Heather Kraafter mentioned, I've had that happen to me twice now withing the last two weeks. It was really odd being able to hear one panelist and not the other two.
ReplyDeleteMichael Daniels
ReplyDeleteGreat Points.
I am making notes on this, to get everyone to provide that feedback.
I wasn't sure that this was a unique situation or more general. I see from this post, that it was not unique.
Thank you,
Russ
