New Hangout Toolbox
As some may have noticed there are now 2 Hangout Toolbox Apps available when in a HOA. The new one has, imho, a more attractive interface. The new one does not automatically transfer old Lower Thirds or custom overlays at this time.
One interesting aspect is that both the old and new Hangout Toolbox apps can, at least for now, be used at the same time.
In the picture below the Lower Third in yellow came from the old Toolbox while the pink 'Upper Third' (for lack of a better name) came from the new Toolbox.
Andrew Hatchett - Is this "new" "upper 3rd" on roll out? I just looked to see if I had it, and don't see it.

Russ Worthington It really isn't an "Upper 3rd" as such. It is a custom overlay. I designed it some time ago to put the image at the top of the screen.
ReplyDeleteBasically what I was showing is that you can use two custom overlays (one from the old toolbox and one from the new toolbox) at the same time.
How do we get the new one and why would we want to do that, please, Andrew Hatchett ?

Sally Sue Ember You can get it by being in a HOA with someone who has it. Not sure if it is in the Chrome store yet. Mai reason to get it is it is a cleaner interface and easier to understand. Since I never use Comment tracker I have no ida how well (or even if) it works with it.
