When Andrew Hatchett told me that the Logitech C930 camara had Mac software and the c920 did not, it occurred to me...
When Andrew Hatchett told me that the Logitech C930 camara had Mac software and the c920 did not, it occurred to me that my Logitech Windows software worked across my several Logitech cameras. So, I downloaded the C930 mac software, installed it and plugged in my C920. Bingo! Camera control on the mac for the C920.

My Hangout Window was Closed Automatically by a New Timer
Apparently, if you have a Hangout Video Call window open but are not doing anything with it, then you'll see this timer/warning dialog.
Quite a while back we had a different looking warning for inactivity when in a Hangout Video Call (and that seemed to go away)... this one just showed up today for me.
Maybe it has been around for a while and I just did not notice since I don't normally sit in a Hangout window without doing anything.
It makes a gameshow type clicking sound, and tries to draw your attention to the window... if you don't click the Yes button, then I have seen it close 1 minute after the first alert which seems to come at about 4 minutes (so you've got 5 minutes to respond).
Does this apply to a HOA? My results were from a Hangout Video Call (HVC) not a Hangout on Air (HOA) window.
I wonder how this will affect multiple computers being used as separate cameras in a HOA broadcast... will they need to have some mouse movement on occasion to keep them viable as a 'camera'?

Best practice for installing new external webcam?
I presently have a Logitech c525 on a PC running Vista. Today I acquired a Logitech c920 to replace the c525. Before trying to install the c920 should I delete the software associated with the c525 or will it simply be overwritten when I install the c920?

Hello everyone,
I have an Epilepsy Community for support and started a non-profit page to raise money. I want to start HOA for the community. With epilepsy, you don't drive if it isn't under control. That's why I want to start the HOAs. You can't drive to a hospital for a local epilepsy support group.
Thanks for letting me join. I am excited to learn Business HOAS and meeting new people.

So... I have a question that I can't figure out.
- HOA scheduled for tomorrow
- By invitation only
- External Sharing allowed
Most people can click "Yes" to "Are you going to watch?" in the email invitation, they are directed to the event page and they are good to go.
HOWEVER, some people click "Yes", are directed to the event page and are asked to submit their name. When they submit their name and Save, they are told that they do not access to the event.
I can't figure out why some people are being denied.
Can someone explain what's going on here? I assume that this is a beginner issue.

It's sad but true that few people bother with the Google+ hashtags, either relying on an automatic selection of leaving their posts with none. However, it also seems few people use their Circles effectively, either, and one culprit is the ability to post to Public, meaning anyone who has them in their Circles. This annoys me greatly as I mostly have people in my Circles for a given reason (e.g. genealogy), and so receiving posts about cooking, religious messages, etc., is inappropriate. Those posters could have shared with a specific Circle, or the customisable 'Your Circles' target, but no thought was really given to their audience.
Is this a problem with the Google+ concept, or a lack of education?

Hey everyone
Hey everyone,
My name is Lori from sunny Miami Beach, FL and I'm learning my way around HOAs in hopes to use it for my business. I'm looking to gain experience/practice in HOAs so I can host my own pet related (pet nutrition, holistic medicine, dog walking/pet sitting, etc.) HOAs and make YT videos as informational content for my clients.
If anyone is looking to setup an HOA practice group add me to your circles or send me a message! I hear the best way to approach HOAs is through practice and guest appearances so that's what I'm working on first :-)
My name is Lori from sunny Miami Beach, FL and I'm learning my way around HOAs in hopes to use it for my business. I'm looking to gain experience/practice in HOAs so I can host my own pet related (pet nutrition, holistic medicine, dog walking/pet sitting, etc.) HOAs and make YT videos as informational content for my clients.

I am using HOA's to help people solve their dog behavior problems in Houston and out of town or out of state. I also use HOA's to do the academic part of teaching people to become dog trainers. I am trying to run Hangouts appropriate for my field (weight loss, fitness and nutrition) but would love to learn more about Hangouts, be a part other Hangouts (regardless of the topic) and become more proficient with them. Greetings all. I am an online school owner (real estate) and online instructor. My journey on G+ began in 2012 but I didn't "transfer over" in earnest until fall of 2013. I've tried to be active, learn and be a good citizen along the way. Not sure what I want to be when I grow up so am surrounding myself with people I can relate to. Today there has been a slight change in how a person joins the User2User-LIVE! Community.
In the past anyone could join at any time. This has been changed and now a person must ask to join the community.
As we grow bigger and bigger it becomes difficult to keep up with who is who, what they do, and what they expect to gain from joining our community.
To help remedy this, I have added a new category, "Introduce Yourself", to the menu. It is expected that all new members leave a short intro of themselves and a short statement of their goals in joining this community.
The statement of goals will help us in developing future activities and assist us in helping you reach those goals.
It would also be helpful if current members did likewise.
